Many people believe that Halloween falls on October 31st, but this is actually only partially true. Halloween cards can feature anything from spooky images of ghosts, witches, and skeletons, to black cats, bats, and ravens, along with haunted houses and graveyards.
Gothic Halloween cards may even include zombies, bloody images or references to death. But Halloween cards don't have to be all doom and gloom, they can actually be cute and creepy. The cards I'm referring to fall under a category known as creepy kawaii. These cards can include any of the above subject matter but they are illustrated in a simplistic manner, given adorable expressions and are coloured using pastel tones to soften the frightening nature of Halloween. So if you're looking for a way to spread some Halloween cheer, why not send a Halloween card? It's sure to be appreciated by all the Halloween lovers in your life.
